Valessa Caspers, SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources certification) joined the FCMM staff in 2014. She has worked primarily in the field of Human Resources and, as a pastor’s spouse, has a strong desire to help churches implement best practices and provide excellent benefits. Valessa supports both the retirement plan and the long term disability insurance program in customer service. She serves as a resource for churches in HR administration.
Karen joined FCMM in 2014 and brings with her several years of professional experience in the areas of Human Resources, Sales, and Customer Service. Prior to joining our team, she led the training efforts for a local software company, where her work included the design and development of instructional materials for their clients. Apart from her experience, Karen has a Degree in Human Resource Development from the University of Minnesota. She supports FCMM as a resource for both churches and participants, providing assistance with enrollments, updates, and general account inquiries. Karen is eager to serve our customers and passionate about providing timely answers to their questions.
After advising participants of several retirement plans, including FCMM, as a contracting wealth management consultant, Jeff Englin began serving with FCMM participants full-time in April 2016. After 22 years as executive director of EFCA Pastoral Care Ministries, Rev. John Herman is continuing his caring ministry for churches and church staff in a new part-time role with FCMM. He focuses on churches in the central and north central states.
Rev. Jerry Rich joined the FCMM staff in the fall of 2011. Jerry has served in pastoral ministry and church administration/executive pastor roles, including 22 years in EFCA churches. For the nine years prior to his current staff role, Jerry served on the FCMM Board of Trustees. Jerry assists churches and participants and oversees development of new benefit services. He holds certifications as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM, and Qualified Kingdom Advisor™.
Rev. Ross Morrison is President of FCMM Benefits & Retirement. Ross is responsible under the oversight of FCMM’s Board of Trustees for long-term planning, administration, staffing, and all operations. Ross began his connection with FCMM as a trustee in June 1994 and has served as a Senior Pastor in three EFCA churches.
